Welcome to Jungle Tots Douglasdale, a nurturing and stimulating preschool where young minds grow through play, exploration, and hands-on learning. Our goal is to create a warm, home-like environment where children feel safe, loved, and excited to learn every day.

At Jungle Tots Douglasdale, we believe that early childhood education should be fun, engaging, and developmentally appropriate. We focus on building confidence, independence, and essential skills through play-based learning, creative activities, and interactive experiences.

We are passionate about giving each child the best possible start in life, preparing them for their next educational journey while fostering a lifelong love for learning.

Programs & Curriculum
We cater to children from 18 months to 5 years, offering age-appropriate programs designed to support their growth in:

• Social & Emotional Development – Helping children build friendships, confidence, and communication skills.
• Cognitive & Language Development – Encouraging curiosity, problem-solving, and early literacy skills.
• Fine & Gross Motor Skills – Strengthening coordination through hands-on activities and outdoor play.
• Creativity & Expression – Nurturing imagination through music, art, storytelling, and dramatic play.

Our curriculum is designed to be interactive, engaging, and hands-on, avoiding worksheets in favor of play-based, experiential learning. Every activity is thoughtfully planned to align with each child’s developmental stage.

Daily Schedule
Here’s a glimpse of what a typical day at Jungle Tots Douglasdale looks like:

• 7:00 AM – 8:30 AM – Arrival & Free Play
• 8:30 AM – 9:00 AM – Morning Circle (songs, weather, and theme of the day)
• 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM – Learning activities ( one on one) art, cognitive, language, maths, fine motor.
• 10:00 AM – 10:30 AM – snack time
• 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM – Outdoor play/gross motor development and sensory play.
• 11:30 AM – 12:00 PM – Story time, half day children go home.
• 12:00 PM – 12:30 PM – Lunch time (provided by parents)
• 12:30 PM – 2:00 PM – Nap time
• 2:00 PM – 17:00 PM– Aftercare Program

Meet Amy – Principal, Owner & Teacher
At the heart of Jungle Tots Douglasdale is Amy, our passionate principal, owner, and teacher. With a deep love for early childhood education, Amy has dedicated her career to creating a warm, nurturing, and stimulating environment where young children can develop a love for learning through play and exploration.

Amy’s Journey & Qualifications
Amy’s journey in education started with her Diploma in early childhood education . Over the years, she has worked with children of all abilities, developing a hands-on teaching approach that is interactive, engaging, and tailored to each child’s unique needs.

Her experience includes:
✅ Years of experience in early childhood education- 12 years
✅ Specializing in hands-on, play-based learning
✅ Working with children who need extra support, including those with learning differences
✅ Certified in [First Aid/CPR/Fire Training]
