My name is Tori Cooper. I am a qualified Early Childhood Development and Foundation Phase teacher. Additionally I obtained a BA Social Dynamics Degree with a major in psychology at Stellenbosch University. I also have a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certificate.
I taught children, aged 3-13, in Vietnam for a year and thereafter I taught grade 1 at a private school. I create curriculum content for a NPO in Soweto.
I am extremely passionate about inclusive education. Through my experience as a teacher, I see a deep need for more holistic education and interactive play in Early Childhood.
I strive to create a happy and exciting learning environment where children are free to learn and grow with confidence. I aim to develop them into independent, critical thinking and well rounded learners who have an “I can do it” attitude. Through a nurturing, loving and happy learning space, I strive to bring the best out of every child.
