Moms and Tots

Hi, my name is Nicola Pretorius, but you can call me Nicky. I am excited to announce that I am the proud new owner of Moms and Tots Little Falls. I am a mommy to a beautiful little girl and a wife to my amazing husband.

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Education – Early Childhood Development & Foundation Phase. I have over 10 years’ teaching experience in the classroom and online.

I grew up on a farm in a small town called Haenertsburg in Limpopo. We relocated to Johannesburg when our daughter was just two months old. My husband got a job offer that we couldn’t refuse. I then took a break from teaching so that I could spend time with my daughter and really focus on being a mom. When Emma was 17 months old, I decided it was time to do something again, so I started online teaching and I absolutely loved it. It was so nice to interact with children again even though it was over a screen.

My daughter and I joined Moms and Tots Allen’s Nek in 2023, and we both absolutely loved every second of it. I fell in love with the programme. It didn’t only benefit my daughter, but it also benefited me in so many ways. Being able to interact with other mommies in the area who were on the same page as me was such a blessing. My husband also had the opportunity to take Emma to a session, and ever since then, he has been sold on the idea because he could see how happy it made our little one.

Our little family now knows all the words and dance moves to the Moms and Tots songs, and we still sing the songs daily.

I hope to fill your homes with music, dance, and a happy Tot, just like Moms and Tots did for in home.

Learning through play is something I truly believe in. I can’t wait to learn and discover through PLAY with you and your Tot. I look forward to meeting you.
