Activity 1 –Instrument – Drums or Shakers.
You will need: An empty can with a lid. Either use it as a drum using your hands or wooden spoons. Otherwise find pebbles, marbles, beans or buttons and insert them into the tin to make a shaker.
You can decorate your drums by painting them or putting paper around them.
Have fun!

Activity 2 – Draw what you hear.
You will need: any music, the more genres the better. A piece of paper and crayons or pencils.
Start the music and ask them to draw what they are hearing. If they are having trouble, demonstrate. For example, with slower music, you might draw long, loping lines in a dark color. With a faster tune, shorter, sharper angles using a brighter shade. There’s no wrong answer here, just what you feel.

Song – I love you
I love you, you love me
We’re a happy family
With a great big hug
And a kiss from me to you
Won’t you say you love me too?
I love you, you love me
We’re best friends like friends should be
With a great big hug
And a kiss from me to you
Won’t you say you love me too?

Play – Just dance (with props)
It doesn’t get any easier than this. Clear a large space and crank up the music. Bring out an assortment of fun toys — hula hoops, bean bags, rubber balls, scarves, hats — and start dancing!
